Job description

BRX Performance is seeking highly motivated and experienced professionals to join our team as Baseball Performance Coaches, both remotely and on-site in Milwaukee, WI. As a Baseball Performance Coach, you will act as both a strength and conditioning coach and a throwing coach. Your primary role is to design personalized strength and throwing programs for our athletes and, equally important, to guide them through their journey, helping them maximize their athletic potential and achieve their dreams.

Remote Coaches: You will work with athletes remotely, providing expert guidance and support through virtual platforms. Relocation to Milwaukee for employment is not required, but optional.

On-Site Coaches: You will work directly with both in-person AND remote athletes, delivering hands-on coaching and personalized guidance.

Responsibilities:

Develop comprehensive strength and conditioning and throwing programs tailored to baseball athletes, considering individual needs and performance goals.
Conduct biomechanical analysis to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize athletic performance and reduce the risk of injury.
Provide expert coaching and guidance to athletes via text, email, and video calls
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in strength and conditioning methodologies, sports science research, and technology to innovate and enhance training programs.
Monitor and track athletes' progress, utilizing performance metrics and testing protocols to evaluate their development and adjust training programs accordingly.
Foster a positive and supportive coaching relationship by effectively communicating with them and their support network.
Conduct assessments and new customer onboarding calls remotely (via Zoom)
Deliver prompt service to remote athletes and their families via email/text
Self-sufficient and able to effectively manage time.

Requirements

Experience with baseball athletes as a strength and conditioning or sport performance coach

Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of baseball-specific movement patterns, biomechanics, and performance demands.
Certification from a recognized strength and conditioning organization (e.g., CSCS, NASM-CPT, or equivalent).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively coach and motivate athletes remotely.
Experience with online coaching platforms and video analysis tools.
Highly organized and self-disciplined, able to manage and prioritize a caseload of athletes.
Technology literacy, including proficiency in using virtual coaching tools, spreadsheet software, and CRM systems.
