Senior Account Executive - US Federal

Summary

We are seeking an experienced senior software sales professional to generate net new subscription software revenue to support growth of our US Federal and Public Sector business unit.   We are seeking multiple candidates that have experience in Federal, State or Local Government, DoD, or the Intelligence Community (IC).  These roles are responsible for new business development, account strategy, and account planning.  This senior sales professional will utilize modern business development strategies and complete field-based sales activities focused on selling our  enterprise asset management and workplace digital solutions portfolio.   

The ideal candidate will be expected to:

  • Identify, qualify, and close new federal, state, or local government accounts
  • Expand and cross-sell existing government customers
  • Meet or exceed activity, pipeline, and net new sales objectives
  • Understand business drivers and challenges for the Public Sector
  • Align and execute with our go-to-market partners including ServiceNow
  • Develop and enhance C-level account relationships
  • Orchestrate and lead account strategy
  • Utilize Salesforce.com daily to manage all key sales metrics


Qualifications

  • Experience selling IWMS and EAM into the US Federal Government/ Public Sector
  • Proven track record of consistently developing and closing net new business
  • 7+ years of government software sales experience with SaaS or digital solutions
  • 7+ years of experience in field sales, pipeline development, and new business generation
  • Excellent understanding of information technology and solution selling
  • Ability to build meaningful relationships with healthcare systems
  • Strong presentation, leadership and collaboration skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to support and lead large RFP teams and drive outputs
  • Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com management tools
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

The compensation for this position is $250,000 - $300,000 OTE with a 50/50 split, accelerators, and an uncapped variable compensation plan
