We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Technical Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience in tinkering with Web3, excellent communication skills and a passion for building relationships, generating new business and helping customers succeed with our services.  

 

Location: All of Chainstack's positions are fully remote and you can work from home. To create the best experience for your future colleagues, this role does require that you are based within US/LATAM (preferably) and/or European (acceptable) time zones

The Technical Account Manager will proactively develop and maintain strong working relationship with our top customers, focusing on the technical aspects of the implementation, connecting with key business executives and interacting with project stakeholders. It is a critical role that will lead to engagement with Chainstack customers and ensure customer success, adoption, retention and growth. The main responsibility is to understand the ‘health’ and needs of our biggest customers and ensure that they grow into Chainstack’s ideal customers. 

 

Responsibilities 

 

  • Being the first point of contact for the biggest Chainstack customers which belong to the TAM book of business, actively participating in cadence calls and troubleshooting meetings 
  • Understanding technical profiles of all TAM customers and using this knowledge in day-to-day interactions 
  • Acting as a connector and advisor between the customers and Support, Product and technical departments 
  • Helping sales with the technical side of the implementation and adoption of new Chainstack customers, being responsible for POC and PS hours execution 
  • Responding to advanced technical questions from Support, Sales and Account Managers, providing in-depth knowledge and expertise to help resolve customer issues. 
  • Responsible for generating account expansions through upselling and cross-selling various products that we offer to the TAM book of business 
  • Evaluating customer health and determining corrective action (if necessary), as well as ensuring the adoption of Chainstack solutions through execution of the Chainstack customer success process  
  • Building trusted relationships with key stakeholders within customer organizations to generate proper levels of adoption, ensure renewals, and create new revenue opportunities 
  • Capturing both business and technical outcomes achieved through the deployment of Chainstack and communicating these both internally and externally   
  • Performing monthly book of business analysis and presenting the data during the periodical review calls 

 

Requirements: 

 

  • 3+ years Post Sales Customer Facing experience – Technical Account Management /Sales Engineer/Customer Success roles 
  • Strong understanding of the Web3 industry and blockchain technologies (EVM, non-EVM, Solana) and infrastructure is a must have  
  • Strong understanding of networks, Linux systems and container orchestration engines like Kubernetes 
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP stack and Ethereum JSON-RPC specification 
  • Proficiency with scripting languages (bash/python/javascript) is a plus 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. 
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships, with a focus on customer satisfaction and success.  
  • Solid experience with CRM software (Hubspot) and MS Office (MS Excel) 
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities 
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues from various departments
