Niyam is seeking a motivated Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team. We offer competitive compensation and benefits. Position is remote, but will require occasional travel for public meetings. This is in support of a proposed project for Small Business Administration.
Role and Responsibilities
As a subject matter expert, you will leverage practical and theoretical knowledge to develop solutions, oversee project activities, and provide expertise in areas such as program planning, strategy development, and policy formulation. You will ensure project objectives are met and contribute significantly to the creation of deliverables.
- Provide expert advice and support on assigned projects, leveraging extensive knowledge to address client needs and develop solutions.
- Lead the planning and execution of programs, strategies, and policies, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Conduct detailed evaluations and contribute to the development of deliverables, ensuring high-quality results.
- Facilitate and participate in meetings with clients and project teams, driving discussions and resolving issues.
- Perform specialized tasks that require advanced technical knowledge and practical experience in relevant fields.
- Act as a subject matter expert to guide complex projects and solution development.
- Apply theoretical and practical knowledge to support program planning, strategy, and policy formulation.
- Ensure successful execution and delivery of project objectives and outcomes.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain SBA clearance
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration or related field and at least five (5) years of experience in consulting. Non-technical majors may be accepted with relevant experience.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Preferred Skills
- Active Public Trust Clearance
- Prior experience working with federal contracts
- Data Warehouse and User Experience background
- Technical skills and/or experience
- Experience with Agile methodology and Jira software
