Job description and responsibilities

  • As a Senior Application Development Manager, deliver solutions for critical service that is built on client server architecture using middleware components and database
  • Lead a team of talented developers in the design, development, and implementation of Java-based applications.
  • Provide Level 3 support for the current service and take lead in in the analysis and resolution of issues reported in Production and UAT
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive innovative solutions.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Proactively identify and address technical challenges, mitigate risks, and implement effective solutions to ensure project success.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10-15 years of IT experience with focus on Core Java, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex software projects.
  • Experience in a diverse set of technologies including SQL, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA, Junit, Mockito, Apache Spark, Storm and related technologies
  • Practical experience in developing software products/solutions that are deployed on cloud (as PaaS,SaaS)
  • Possesses knowledge of complex database concepts and ensures technology teams are effectively employing appropriate database design techniques.
  • Possesses ability to incorporate security and P&C (performance and capacity) requirements into solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies and agile practices
  • Experience lead and mentoring cross-functional teams in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development
