Job description

Luminary Group is partnering with a leading life science company to hire a skilled and motivated Epidemiologist with expertise in Real World Evidence (RWE) to join their team. As an Epidemiologist specializing in Real World Evidence, you will contribute to the design and analysis of epidemiological studies using real-world data to generate valuable insights and support evidence-based decision making.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key scientific questions and design epidemiological studies using real-world data.
  • Collect, clean, and analyze real-world datasets using statistical software and programming languages.
  • Apply appropriate statistical methods and techniques for data analysis, interpretation, and visualization.
  • Conduct literature reviews and stay updated on the latest advancements in epidemiology and real-world evidence.
  • Assess the quality, integrity, and reliability of real-world data sources.
  • Communicate epidemiological findings and insights through presentations, reports, and scientific publications.
  • Collaborate with external partners and stakeholders to enhance epidemiologic research capabilities and identify collaboration opportunities.

Requirements

  • Master's or PhD degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in epidemiology or real-world evidence.
  • Proficiency in statistical software and programming languages such as R, SAS, or Python.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and interpret complex datasets.
  • Knowledge of epidemiological study design and statistical methods.
  • Familiarity with real-world data sources and healthcare databases.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Publication record in peer-reviewed journals is a plus.
  • Experience in the life sciences or healthcare industry is preferred.
