Position Title: Driver 

Position type: Variable hours, competitive day rate 

Location: Lebanon

ARK Drivers ensure our team members reach their destinations safely and efficiently. Their role is vital to our operations, and we’re looking for people who can deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:  

Current Operations:  

• Provide reliable & effective driving support to project activity  

• Provide all weather, day & hours of darkness driving as directed  

• Conduct driver tasks as detailed by Project Staff 

• Liase with hire car company 

• Adhere to project Dress Policy 

Planning Support:  

• Check road conditions before journey  

• Carry out vehicle maintenance  

• Check driver task details (destination, pax and special instructions)  

• Conduct contingency planning (e.g. alternate route selection)  

• Conduct checks on road worthiness at the start of each working day 

Requirements

We’re looking for a driver who:  

• Is professionally proficient in English 

• Has held their current Drivers’ License for more than 5 years  

• Is customer-oriented, treating every passenger with respect and professionalism, including VIPs 

• Is safety focused with exceptional situational awareness, adheres to speed limits and can drive in arduous conditions (and fit snow chains)  

• Has excellent knowledge of routes to & from main Staff locations, and is able to contingency plan for route selection  

• Can work flexible hours and has impeccable timekeeping  

• Has excellent knowledge of WhatsApp & Google maps  

• Is prepared to support other project/training support tasks as requested
