Job description

Zeitview is looking for an IT Admin to play a pivotal role in efficiently managing our IT resources. You will procure, maintain, and administer computers across our North America and EU locations. This position will also oversee corporate software systems, deploying security tools and policies to safeguard company information. Additionally, you will support colleagues by resolving IT problems, assisting with onboarding, and providing guidance on policies and systems. We’re looking for someone who can independently manage IT tasks while ensuring our team’s productivity and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage user accounts and permissions for GSuite, Slack, Atlassian, etc.
  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring timely account creation/deactivation.
  • Manage Google Groups and distribution lists, ensuring appropriate access.
  • Implement and manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
  • Oversee VPN configuration and maintenance, providing support for remote access.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IT-related issues.
  • Enforce IT policies and procedures, ensuring security and compliance.
  • Lead and participate in IT projects and initiatives to improve infrastructure and services.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of IT processes, systems, and configurations.
  • Prepare and present reports on IT activities, performance, and issues to senior management.
  • Set up new hire laptops to get ready for deployment and use
  • Maintaining inventory of all laptops, computer equipment, and VPN access.
  • Enhance the onboarding/offboarding workflow.
Requirements:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of GSuite, Slack, Atlassian, and other workplace tools.
  • Ability to work out our equipment hub in Austin part of the time
  • Experience with account management, onboarding/offboarding processes, and access control.
  • Proficiency in managing GSuite Administration.
  • Hands-on experience with MDM solutions and VPN configuration.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with IT security standards and best practices.
  • Preferred: IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+), cloud-based services experience, scripting and automation tools knowledge, familiarity with ITIL framework and practices.
