About the role

We are seeking a Project Manager - Recruitment to serve as the operational manager for our recruitment department. To be a successful candidate, you don't need prior experience in recruitment or HR. Instead, we are looking for a critical thinker who can devise innovative solutions to operational challenges and effectively manage departmental staff members.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the recruitment department.

  • Collaborate with the recruitment team to identify and resolve operational challenges.

  • Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of processes and proactively identify areas for improvement.

  • Ensure compliance with processes and policies within the recruitment department.

  • Ensure that all departmental documentation is created and maintained accurately and up to date.

  • Lead and manage departmental staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.

  • Utilize critical thinking skills to propose and implement out-of-the-box solutions for operational issues.

  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to streamline recruitment processes.

  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure recruitment activities align with overall business objectives.

  • Prepare and present regular reports on recruitment operations to senior management.

Requirements

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field will be an advantage

  • Experience working in or with a recruitment department is beneficial but not mandatory.

  • Must be highly detail-oriented and a problem-solver

  • Must be highly adaptable and comfortable with a fast-paced environment

  • Skilled in collecting and analyzing data and information, drawing logical conclusions, and summarizing in a clear, concise manner

  • Ability to develop and maintain productive working relationships with organization management and staff

  • Advanced with Google workplace apps -- particularly Google Docs and Google Sheets (or MS Office Suite expertise) and generally technologically savvy

  • Proficiency with HRIS or any other ATS is nice to have but not required.
