The Role

We are seeking an Area Account Manager to manage and grow our presence amongst luxury Kitchen Retail in London

The Kitchen Retail market is essential to our strategy and requires a very special skill set to develop and leverage the key relationships required. From identifying key clients, through networking and engaging with them, it's vital to our success that we've got the right person on the job.

The Role:

As our Area Account Manager, you will be at the forefront of growing our brand and product presence across Kitchen Retail accounts. You will develop strategic sales plans and manage accounts with the aim of increasing market share and delivering profitable growth both in the short and long term.

Main Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Delivery:

  • Create and execute a strategic Area Sales Plan (ASP) with annual sales targets, product placements, and promotional programs.
  • Influence social media and online marketing activities for maximum brand exposure.
  • Ensure effective execution of the ASP, fostering cross-functional collaboration to meet business needs.
  • Provide regular reporting updates on account portfolios to local and global teams.

Account Management:

  • Build deep understanding of account businesses and market influences.
  • Cultivate existing relationships and identify new customer opportunities.
  • Ensure seamless brand representation in all accounts, both in-store and digitally.
  • Provide proactive support, including product training, to drive sales and monitor daily sales metrics.

Brand Ambassador:

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers, acting as a trusted brand ambassador.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven account management experience.
  • Passion for the Kitchen, Design, Home Interiors, or Lifestyle sectors.
  • Positive, progressive attitude and flexibility to adapt to change.
  • Strong self-development drive and eagerness to learn new skills.
  • Track record of increasing sales and margins within an account portfolio.
  • Ability to construct and implement sales plans aligned with company strategy.
  • Effective communication skills to analyse business results and create creative solutions.
  • Experience in a premium culture is highly beneficial.
  • Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Design, or equivalent experience required.
