Position Overview

Evernest is seeking an experienced, data driven and innovative Director of Leasing to oversee the day-to-day operations of our leasing team, and optimization of our leasing platform. This strategic doer will leverage their expertise, data, technology and continuous iteration to achieve best in class leasing results, including maximizing rent prices, minimizing days on the market, reducing cost per lease, and delivering an outstanding prospect experience. This leader will demonstrate extreme ownership of all leasing related activities, excel as a cross functional partner and methodically drive the business forward. They will have direct experience with leasing funnel optimization, improving conversion rates and will have managed both in-market and virtual teams. They will be as comfortable in Excel/Sheets, and other BI tools, as they are presenting to the c-suite. The ideal candidate has a track record of success, built or improved high volume leasing platforms, led large teams, managed a P&L and is passionate about their work. This role reports directly to the COO.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize the leasing platform to enhance client experiences with Evernest.
  • Lead by example and inspire the team by fostering a culture of core value alignment and a pursuit of excellence.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration and teamwork among peers and both in-market and virtual teams.
  • Utilize data and experience to optimize the leasing funnel, identify bottlenecks, and streamline the leasing process for greater efficiency and faster lead-to-lease conversions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies in the leasing process, including data privacy and security.
  • Encourage innovation, explore new technologies and methodologies, and drive continuous process improvement.
  • Design and implement calculated experiments (A/B tests) aimed at improving outcomes.
  • Reduce the cost per lease.
  • Develop and exceed both internal and external KPIs and SLAs.
  • Develop and implement predictive models to forecast leasing performance, occupancy rates, and revenue, enabling proactive decision-making.
  • Collect and analyze leasing data, market trends, and customer insights to identify opportunities for improvement throughout the leasing process.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of all leasing related activities
  • Create, maintain and improve comprehensive dashboards and reports that provide real-time insights into leasing performance, allowing for data-driven decision-making.
