Your missions

Ready to be a Titan?

ServiceTitan is seeking an exceptional Finance Manager, Sales GTM to join one of the fastest growing tech startups in Southern California, backed by the best VC firms in the SaaS space, and recently ranked #5 on The Cloud 100. This position will report to the Director, GTM FP&A and will enjoy a high level of executive visibility and impact to our rapidly-growing startup.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, a growth mindset, and have a proven track record of providing superior financial and strategic analysis (ideally across a Sales organization). This role will partner closely with our Sales organization, specifically with senior leadership to define and report on Sales Bookings, support strategic initiatives and provide decision making support, manage expenses while highlighting risks/opportunities, and working on critical projects across the GTM team. In this highly-visible role, you will provide timely financial insights and outlook in order to make informed and trusted decisions for our company.

We value strategic insight, at all levels of the organization, and will depend on you to achieve the extraordinary! You will be empowered to challenge the status quo, dream big and have a massive impact.

About You:

We move at a fast pace, which will bring constant change, complexity and ambiguity. Titans will thrive on this, need to exhibit a growth mindset, and be comfortable being uncomfortable. Those that succeed at ServiceTitan have very similar traits. Before applying, consider if you have the following:

  • Have passion for what you do - care about entrepreneurship and changing lives

  • Can bring your best - we empower each other to exceed expectations and care more about learning than ego

  • Can achieve the extraordinary - we value results and impact. We excel through a performance culture, but will have a ton of fun along the way

  • Be resilient and resourceful in the face of ambiguity and thrive on this

  • Endure and thrive in an unrelenting pace - we have sky high ambitions

What You'll Bring:

  • Build robust financial frameworks and reporting - you will own financial frameworks to drive decision making support across the Sales organization, owning both financial modeling and reporting

  • Be a trusted business partner - the leadership team will rely on you to provide insights that drive key business strategies, highlighting opportunities for continued growth, and mitigating any potential risks

  • Partner cross functionally - you will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally (with Sales, Operations, & Finance) to tackle complex projects that span across the GTM organization

  • Consolidated PoC for Sales performance - ownership of consolidated reporting/forecasting and consolidated stories, working cross functionally with Finance and Operations

  • Own our close process - you will own the Sales month end close processes expense accruals (ie. commissions), variance commentary, R&O’s, and Sales reporting to ensure we’re delivering the right insights, including ownership and adherence to Bookings Policy

  • Own our forecasting process - you will own the Sales monthly forecast from top line Sales Bookings to expenses (headcount planning, resource allocation, discretionary spend tracking), including the Sales annual operating plan build

  • Help us scale - develop tools, systems, and process improvements to drive automation, efficiency, and discipline in deal structures

  • Promote thought-leadership - you will identify areas for process improvement to scale forecasting and reporting tools, processes, and methodologies

  • Lead strategic cross-functional initiatives (ie. compensation system changes, bookings project lead, etc)

What You'll Bring:

  • 6+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably from a SaaS tech company in a finance/strategy role or a top management consulting firm (CPA or MBA preferred). We are looking for candidates that have worked in high-performance teams using complex modeling to discover business insights

  • Must possess a growth mindset - be endlessly curious to solve complex challenges and thrive while navigating the ambiguity

  • Strong experience in financial modeling and strategic business planning, including the creation and execution of robust financial plans

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely

  • Proven track record and ability to work cross-functionally, while manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment

  • Be a self-starter, possessing a solutions oriented mindset

  • Experience with detailed systems (ie. Adaptive, Workday, Intacct) to ensure accurate and scalable reporting

  • Knowledge of SQL (or other data querying languages) is a huge plus

  • Familiarity with creating visualizations (through Tableau, Looker Studio, Power BI) a huge plus
