HPC Storage Engineer

Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage high-performance storage solutions for HPC environments.
• Optimize storage performance and scalability for large-scale GPU infrastructures.
• Implement and manage parallel file systems (e.g., Lustre, GPFS) and storage networks.
• Collaborate with HPC engineers and other teams to integrate storage solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex storage issues in HPC environments.
• Stay updated with the latest storage technologies and best practices in HPC.
• Develop and maintain documentation for HPC storage infrastructure and processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in deploying and managing storage solutions for large-scale HPC infrastructures.
• Expertise in high-performance parallel file systems and storage networking technologies.
• Strong understanding of HPC architectures and storage performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with Linux operating systems and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Good to have:

• Experience with cloud storage and hybrid HPC environments.
  
• Familiarity with data management and backup solutions in HPC settings.
• Certification in relevant storage technologies or platforms.
