Job description

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will work with our sales and marketing leaders to drive business development at Sela. You will own the process of identifying new business opportunities in the Cloud and Managed Services market and you will develop relationships with potential customers and our cloud partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities in the Cloud and Managed Services market through outreach and prospecting
  • Utilize CRM to track and nurture leads
  • Qualify leads and proactively recommend next steps to sales team
  • Clearly communicate Sela's value proposition to potential clients; understand common client requirements, and how Sela can help clients "Cloud Better"
  • Achieve monthly outreach targets and sales metrics
  • Develop and maintain relationships with our partners (cloud platforms and others)
  • Work independently to get results and effectively loop in others to close deals

Requirements:

  • Experience in B2B sales
  • Proven record of achieving sales quotas
  • Effective communication skills, experience building relationships with customers
  • Experience with a CRM tool
  • Open to learning new technologies, especially related to cloud
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner certification required within first 60 days
