CLAIMS SPECIALIST UW -  PERSONAL INJURY I  PERTH, WA

 You will be responsible for  

  • Assess and manage injury needs of claimants of various claim profiles case manage through soundly based decision making whilst assessing for reasonable and necessary treatment and rehabilitation requirements to maximise return to work and return to health outcomes for claimants.
  • Maintain high customer service standards and effective relationships with key stakeholders, demonstrating extensive knowledge of business, industry and the full range of our customers acting as an escalation point for your colleagues when required.
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant insurance guidelines, legislation and regulations court decisions impacting claims functions and policy changes.

 About you

  • Experience in the management of bodily injury claims within a Workers Compensation environment,
  • Ability to interpret and analyse complex information, extract meaningful insights along with the application and interpretation of legislation.
  • High attention to detail and technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting and communication tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, combined with the ability to balance understanding, empathy and compassion with the best commercial outcome for AAL
