RIGHTECH is a leading nationwide provider of technical staffing services, and we are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Foreman Low Voltage Technician starting ASAP.

Job Title: Foreman Low Voltage Technician
Location: Nationwide Travel (95% of the time)
Duration: Contract to Hire
Start Date: ASAP
Job Description: Looking for self-motivated reliable technicians for service and special installation pojects who can work independently and find solutions to complete the job.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Data Cable Technician
  • Extensive nationwide travel 4-6 months at a time.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards (BICSI, NEC, TIA/EIA)
  • Can read blueprints and site maps
  • Experience in CCTV, voice and data cabling a big plus
  • Excellent customer relationship and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Comfortable working and collaborating with teams of 4-20 technicians
  • Knowledge of color codes. Able to discern individual colors
  • Work in crampt spces
  • Lift experience
  • Basic industry hand tools, PPE, and reliable transportation (car) and clean valid drivers license
  • Knowledge of cabling infrastructure
Responsibilities
  • Installation, troubeshooting, and maintenance of various cabling infrastructures
  • Run low voltage cabling in commercial buildings, including drilling concrete walls and limited conduit work
  • Ensuring all cables are neatly tied and bundled accordingly to safety regulations
  • Installing cable support structurs such as j-hooks, cable racks, and innerduct.
  • Repairing cable poles and towers
  • Conduct tests to ensure all newly installed cable systems and component devices are operational
  • Troubleshoot issues with the cable network
