Your missions

POSITION - Sales Representative, Empower

Justification – DMT is expanding its sales organization to prepare for aggressive corporate sales goals in the coming years, as well as for future openings created by eventual retirements/departures. We have identified a critical need to hire and groom additional LOS sales executives that will become the sales leaders of tomorrow while helping us reach our revenue goals today.

  • Position is Full-Time
  • Target Hire Date is Immediate
  • Salary Range is $60,000 - $95,000, dependent upon level of experience, plus commission (see below)
  • Travel required (can be 50%+ at times once ramped)

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training or work experience.
  • Experience within the mortgage industry in an originations, secondary marketing, fulfillment or operations role, or with a mortgage technology or consulting firm providing solutions for same is a plus, but not required

General Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Professional presentation skills and public speaking ability/confidence are critical.
  • Analytical skills are necessary to determine client business needs and requirements.
  • Strategic sales aptitude and ability to manage a very complex sales process from start to finish.
  • Proven work ethic and excellent time-management skills are a must.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within all levels of prospective client organizations, from C-level to business unit managers to actual platform users.
  • Successful individuals in this role will display a consultative approach and the ability to identify solutions that solve clients’ pain points.
  • Ability to travel is required

GROWTH TRAJECTORY/PLAN

  • Successful individuals in the Sales Representative role are expected to ultimately develop into territory sales executives who can expertly manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation and discovery through product demonstrations, proposal negotiations and contract closing.
  • Advancement will be the result of learning all aspects of the Empower solution and our sales process, as well as the mortgage industry and origination process itself.

Additional Information

  • The sales representative will report to the SVP-Sales, who will manage, train and mentor the sales representative with the goal of helping them become proficient in all aspects of the Empower sales process and ultimately advance into a VP-Sales role with an established territory of their own to manage.
  • During the first 90 days in this role, the sales representative will focus exclusively on product training, working through a defined curriculum and shadowing the SVP-Sales on calls, discovery meetings, sales presentations, etc., to supplement the curriculum work they are performing and accelerate their learning.

Salary Range (US Only):

The estimated base salary range for this role in the United States is $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year. For compliance with local legislation, and to provide greater transparency to applicants, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of the desired hiring location or whether the position is remote. The posted range is an estimate and reflects many factors which are subject to change. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above, based upon geographic location, candidate experience and expertise, and other relevant factors.

Other Compensation (US Only):

Sales positions may be eligible to participate in the business commission plan. Plan details will be provided to you upon hire.

Time off (US Only):

The Company provides a minimum of 10 days of vacation for new employees , sick time based on state requirements, 8 Company-paid holidays and 2 personal holidays per year.
