Job role

 

The  Financial Accountant  will strengthen the Group Taxation Team of the Headquarter Allianz SE and will ensure efficient and compliant workflows to guarantee high quality of the tax reporting processes. Will perform analysis and reporting for internal and external audiences.

 

What you will do

 

 

  • Ensures Tax Reporting such as Country by Country report analysis (e.g. support local entities of Allianz with training, master data gathering, system checks and documentation, validation checks and data analysis) and Tax Transparency
  • Support in Global minimum tax reporting, controls and analysis
  • Participation at the preparation of monthly/quarterly and year end closing in accordance with the Allianz  SE reporting calendars;
  • Data gathering and validation checks related to IFRS/MVBS
  • Updating Intranet; data storage (DMS);  Preparation of  financial presentation or calculations; Legal development analysis
  • Support in implementation, testing and administration of Tax Tools / Process Workflow

 

What you bring

 

  • Good knowledge of IFRS
  • University degree in economics, finance or related field;
  • Fluent in English, strong communication skills (German or another European language is a plus).
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting/ controlling
  • Experienced User in SAP FI/ SAP BW finance systems;
  • Excellent MS- Office skills (especially Excel)

  • Team player with strong interpersonal, intercultural, communication and organizational skills;
  • Attention to detail with ability to think in processes and ensure deliverables are connected with operating plans;
  • Strong ability to multi-task and appropriately prioritize tasks to meet deadlines;
