Remote Automation Engineer

This is a remote position.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities to automate manual processes, designing and developing automated solutions, and implementing them to improve efficiency and productivity across a medical organization. You will work closely with various departments to understand their workflows and develop solutions that streamline their operations.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and understand existing business processes to identify areas for automation.
• Design, develop, and implement automated solutions using scripting languages, APIs, and automation tools.
• Integrate automated solutions with existing systems and infrastructure.
• Test and troubleshoot automated solutions to ensure they function correctly and reliably.
• Maintain and update existing automation scripts and tools.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest automation technologies and trends.
• Document automation processes and solutions clearly and concisely.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (operations, executive, data science, etc.) to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet them.
• Continuously identify new opportunities for automation to improve overall efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in automation engineering or a related field.
• Strong understanding of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and automation tools (e.g., Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools).
• Experience with APIs and integrations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A passion for efficiency and improving processes.
