Job description

Overview:

Due to continued growth, our Environmental Services Group is currently looking for a part time Due Diligence Specialist to join the ENERCON Team. Location is open, US-based.

Responsibilities:

Perform desktop reviews of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and other environmental reports, specifically for sites in the UK and EU countries
Evaluate report findings based on the regulatory framework in the country of origin and the client’s requisite scope of work
Provide defensible recommendations based on site conditions presented in reports, regulatory framework, and risk tolerance
Maintain confidentiality related to property and client-sensitive information

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, Construction, or related Sciences field AND a minimum of 7 years in environmental consulting and due diligence experience, including Phase I ESAs
Ability to complete multiple projects concurrently with varying scopes of work within short timeframes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good problem solving and general scientific evaluation skills
Computer skills including knowledge of MS Office Suite and Parcel platform
Working knowledge of environmental regulations in the UK and EU countries
