Job description

Everbridge, a fast-growing global provider of SaaS-based critical communications and enterprise safety solutions, is actively seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team based in Hungary. This is a remote/home-based position that can be based anywhere in Hungary.

By processing critical event and travel data, providing powerful visualizations, and enabling worldwide communication with impacted users, our mission is to protect lives during critical events.

What you'll do:
  • Collaborate with a talented team of full-stack developers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality features.
  • Conduct code reviews, lead, and mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Develop using modern web technologies such as C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Utilize modern platform technologies including Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS to build and maintain scalable applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application and infrastructure issues efficiently.
  • Maintain and enable platform and customer configurations, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Implement new capabilities within our platforms, driving innovation and enhancing functionality.
  • Collaborate across engineering teams, guiding the adoption of best practices to ensure high standards.
  • Stay current with new skills and technologies, embracing continuous learning and development.

  • What you'll bring:
  • 5+ years of experience developing in a .NET full-stack environment.
  • 3+ years of experience building scalable web applications with .NET Core, ASP.NET (MVC), and MS SQL Server (or equivalent technologies).
  • 3+ years of experience with front-end development using JavaScript or JavaScript-related frameworks (e.g., Angular, React).
  • 3+ years of experience with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Proven experience writing scalable, multi-threaded web applications and services.
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps automation tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitLab).
  • Experience working in a cloud-based deployment environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or related fields.
