In this position you will shape ABBYY’s learning and development culture in support of our strategic objectives. This role will build and deliver a variety of learning programs, identify skill gaps needs and design programs that close these gaps and build ABBYY’s talent density. This role will be a key member of the People Leadership team and will be a trusted partner to business and HR leaders to identify learning needs and drive organizational performance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Shape learning culture by partnering with People Partners, leaders and employees to understand and anticipate the company's learning needs
  • Design and develop learning programs and initiatives for both leaders and individual contributors that improve performance and facilitate organizational success
  • Construct framework to conduct skill gap analysis and provide effective development solutions to build employee skills
  • Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities; ensure the quantitative and qualitative feedback of employees and managers lay the foundation of the L&D activities
  • Develop and implement various learning methods (e.g. coaching, mentorship, job-shadowing, online training) based on business needs and optimize LMS platforms and HRIS (in partnership with People Ops) to deliver programs at scale and measure effectiveness
  • Work in close collaboration with People Team and leaders to oversee and streamline whole employee lifecycle, support employee engagement, goal-setting and performance management initiatives. Guide People Team and provide resources to deploy learning programs at a team, local or individual level
  • Create framework for company-wide succession planning, and partner with People team to advise leaders
  • Partners with key stakeholders in the business to regularly update content for compliance trainings, and drives annual training calendar utilizing our LMS, MindTickle

Job Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience as L&D Manager or similar experience
  • Proven experience in managing multi-stakeholder projects across all levels of the business, including remote collaboration
  • Strong planning, leadership, project management and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices, MindTickle is a plus
  • Experience in driving learning campaigns from concept to implementation
  • Experience in project management and budgeting
  • Experience identifying and leading process and workflow improvements.
  • Fluent English
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; sharp business acumen
  • Ability to build rapport with employees and vendors
  • Data driven mindset

Salary Range:

  • The anticipated base salary range for this position is between $99,000 and $119,000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location and relevant experience, education, certifications, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work. There is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.
