Job description

We are looking for a logistics specialist with experience in wholesale logistics for apparel. In this role, you will be responsible for entering data into different ERP systems and manage UPCs, and packing guidelines with the factories. The ideal candidate is someone with knowledge about wholesale compliance and has a strong background in ticketing, EDI, and compliance for major retailers such as Saks, Nordstrom, TJ Maxx, etc. and someone who is tech-savvy and extremely detail oriented. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must. Get paid per hour and work for 40-50 hours per week during American business hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Upload an Excel spreadsheet from the ERP system
  • Generate and manage UPC (Universal Product Code)
  • Manage ticketing and packing guidelines with the factories
  • Create and manage spreadsheets with large numbers of figures
  • Double check all orders, shipping, quantity, and what to do with the order
  • Update existing data and generate reports, retrieve the data as requested
  • Verify the data by comparing it to source documents
  • Sort, organize, and store paperwork after entering data
  • Coordinate and allocate shipments of wholesale apparel to customers based on inventory availability and order requirements.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure that all orders are filled accurately on time.
  • Communicate with our retailers regarding the status of their orders and any potential delays or issues that may arise.
  • Work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and ensure that orders are fulfilled in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and work collaboratively with the team to implement solutions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all wholesale apparel customers.

Qualification & Experience Requirements:

  • Fluent in American English, written and oral
  • Someone who is extremely detail-oriented
  • Experience working in an e-commerce role for 2+ years
  • Experience working in international teams
  • Hands-on experience in dealing with customer inquiries/complaints
  • Advanced MS Office knowledge: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint
