Data engineer

Description

As a Data Engineer, your role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines that seamlessly integrate data from diverse source systems into the Actimize platform, specifically the Unified Data Model (UDM). Your key responsibilities include:

• ETL Pipeline Development:Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various source systems into Actimize’s UDM.
• Ensure data integration is efficient, scalable, and minimizes latency.
• Automation and Optimization:Automate ETL processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Optimize data throughput to handle large volumes of data.
• Data Quality Assurance:Establish a data quality framework to maintain consistency, accuracy, and good quality of processed data.
• Develop validation rules and perform data cleansing activities.
• Data Modeling and Schema Design:Design and implement data models and schemas that align with the specific requirements of AML SAM (Suspicious Activity Monitoring) solutions.
• Refer to Actimize’s Data Requirement Document (DRD) and Mapping for guidance.
• Data Mapping and Transformation:Create data mapping documents and scripts to accurately map data from source systems to Actimize’s target schemas.
• Ensure seamless data transformation during the ETL process.
• Database Optimization:Optimize database performance through techniques such as indexing, partitioning, and query optimization.
• Support large-scale data processing and analytics.

Requerments

•   Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Data Management, Statistics or related fields
• ·  Proven experience in developing and implementing data pipelines (ETL) in financial institutions.
•   Proven experience in Data Analytics and interpretation of large volumes of Data
• Advanced SQL knowledge (BigQuery, PL SQL, MS SQL, Hive SQL etc.
