Your missions

ITTConnect is seeking a Kafka Architect to work for one of our clients in the Atlanta area. This client is a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology and engineering services present in nearly 50 countries. Their account involved in this role is in the Telecom area (internet, cable TV).

Job location: Remote working Eastern time hours, but Atlanta highly preferred

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent experience.
10+ years of IT Professional experience with a minimum of 5 years’ experience working as Kafka Platform Architect.
Solid understanding of Kafka architecture and experience in designing & implementing large scale Kafka clusters.
Must have hands-on experience in designing & implementing both Open source & Cloudera Kafka platforms.
Must have worked on designing deployment architecture for multiple Kafka solutions.
Ensure optimum performance, high availability, and stability of Kafka platform solutions.
Strong hands-on designing integration solutions using Kafka and aware of integration best practices for data streaming solutions.
Ability to perform benchmarking, performance analysis and tuning of existing solutions.
Strong knowledge of BigData & streaming technologies like Hadoop, Hive, Spark & Flink across various vendor distributions.
Hands-on experience in custom Kafka producer & consumer application design and implementation.
Experience in the operations systems Linux (RedHat).
Knowledge in virtual machines systems such as VMware and containerized systems such as Docker/Kubernetes is nice to have.
