About Solera:

Solera Senior Living is looking for a talented and driven Senior Financial Analyst to directly support the Director of Investments in executing on our company’s strategic growth plan. The target growth plan includes both core plus and value-add acquisitions and developments of institutional quality senior living assets – including independent living, assisted living and memory care, as well as a newly launched age restricted vertical. This position will be multifaceted and work directly within our Acquisitions, Development and Asset Management functions. This is a newly created position due to growth.

Overview & Responsibilities:
SPECIFIC POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Acquisitions Underwriting / Disposition / Market Research

  • Perform cash flow and valuation analysis for potential acquisitions/developments; including complex deal structuring analysis relating to different potential capital structures and sources, and project schedules and budgets, for proposed seniors projects.
  • Keep current on all markets affecting the senior living industry and specifically the markets in which the assets are situated, including supply and demand changes and
  • Compile operational performance and benchmarking
  • Perform comparable sales
  • Perform sell/hold analysis - perform cash flow and valuation analysis for potential
  • Aid and organize project due diligence processes.
  • Play an integral role in the financing of new investment and development projects by creating financial schedules, scenarios for various types of financing structures and participation in bank Will work closely with the President/CFO, as well as other third-party contractors, such as appraisers.
  • Participate in deal calls with institutional equity and development partners.

  

Asset Management

  • Perform key analytical duties related to an owned, national portfolio of seniors assets.
  • Provide support with the following analyses:
    • Property budget and forecast preparation and on-going maintenance
    • Property business plans and valuations
    • Payback analysis of environmental initiatives
    • Lease analysis
    • Other ad-hoc analyses on an as needed basis
  • Participate in monthly/quarterly update calls with institutional equity and development partners.
  • Lead in continual improvements to financial reporting process and data base.
  • Identify value enhancement opportunities within
  • Assist with overall portfolio management responsibilities.
Qualifications:

RELEVANT SKILLS

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities/work with tight
  • Advanced computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint and
  • Strong attention to detail.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of two years experience as an analyst with a real estate development group, investment group, or a management company – senior living experience preferred.
  • Experience in financial modeling, budgeting and variance analysis.

 

EDUCATIONAL/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Undergraduate degree in finance, real estate or healthcare, with strong demonstration of academic

 

This is a fully remote position, though would prefer if the candidate is located in Los Angeles, San Francisco/Silicon Valley, or Denver.

Min: USD $65,000.00/Yr. Max: USD $85,000.00/Yr.
