Sr. Backend Engineer - Full-Stack

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Backend Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in backend development using modern frameworks and technologies, along with a solid understanding of frontend development. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications, integrating large language models (LLMs), and working with a variety of backend and frontend technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust backend solutions using Python, FastAPI, Celery, Redis, and AWS.
• Develop and maintain frontend applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend systems.
• Work with large language models (LLMs) and related technologies, including embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and vector databases.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in software development and AI.

Key Skills:

• Backend:
• Proficiency in Python, FastAPI, Celery, Redis, and AWS.
• Experience with Docker (optional).
• Familiarity with other Python frameworks like Flask or Django.
• Proficiency in other backend technologies like Node.js or Golang is welcome.
• Frontend:
• Strong experience with Next.js and React.
• Proficiency in TypeScript.
• LLMs:
• Fundamental knowledge of embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and vector databases.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote or hybrid team environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in backend and full stack development.
• Proven experience working with modern web development frameworks and libraries.
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts, particularly related to LLMs.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
