Join the WA Health Virtual Infant, Child, and Adolescent Mental Health Service Aftercare Team.
We are thrilled to offer a unique chance to be part of the virtual aftercare stream. In this pivotal role, you will deliver clinical leadership, expert advice, consultation, and support to infants, children, adolescents, and their families/carers.
Your work will also involve collaboration with healthcare professionals, other providers, and agencies across the regions, all in a virtual setting.

About the service:
This is a specialised mental health service dedicated to infants and children transitioning from regional health services, such as emergency departments, nursing posts, Aboriginal medical services, and remote area clinics.
Utilising audio-visual and telephone methods, team performs comprehensive assessments and offers brief interventions for children and adolescents (0-18 years), along with support for their families and carers.
The service model focuses on providing aftercare following initial presentations and while facilitating the transition to community mental health supports working closely with the seven regional services to ensure timely, responsive, and accessible care for communities.
