The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
 

As a Solventum Government Contract and Compliance Lead, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Providing subject matter expertise and guidance to Solventum’s businesses on government contracts, proposals and business opportunities, including applicable federal government terms and FARs, and any required state and local representations and certifications. This may include, but is not limited to, compliance with newly passed federal/state/local legislation, subcontracting plans, and facilitating necessary reports and conflict of interest forms, validating government contracting requirements, their applicability and impact, and operationalizing and instructing on them.
  • Working with other subject matter experts within Solventum to facilitate federal, state, and local government compliance with statutes and regulations. This includes, but is not limited to, tracking and updating records for all new government business and proper coding within Salesforce across the different Solventum businesses. 
  • Maintaining a Knowledge Management Library around commonly asked government contracting questions, responses, and positions by overseeing Solventum’ s government contracting Policies, Procedures, and Operating Playbook, and assisting with periodic updates.
  • Administering Solventum’ s annual government contract compliance training and tracking participation and compliance and assisting with and updating federal contract schedules, and gathering data, reports, and information related to government contracting.
  • Directing applicable government contracting registrations & memberships (SAM.gov; National Stock Number; Bloomberg).

Your Skills and Expertise 
 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited university AND eight (8) years of experienced knowledge with U.S.  Federal, State and local Government Contracting.

OR

  • High School Diploma/GED from AND twelve (12) years of experienced knowledge with U.S.  Federal, State and local Government Contracting.

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

  • Five (5) years of experience in government contracting
  • Five (5) years of experience with Medical Product & IT Service Industry.
  • Three (3) of SharePoint and Salesforce.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office products expertly.
  • Expertise in a functional discipline sufficient to carry out project leadership and other duties and to effectively leverage a network of company resources.
  • Expertise in strategic and/or operational decisions specific to compliance that may impact how financial resources are generated or spent.
  • Attention to detail, collaboration, organization, and strong prioritization skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills relating to large, complex projects.
  • Strong communication skills including verbal, listening and highly developed presentation.

Work location/time:

  • Remote
  • Monday through Friday with occasional weekends and/or nights.

Travel: May be required but not frequent.

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $137,439 - $167,981, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
