Job Summary
Our Early Career Structural EIT Engineer will have an opportunity to work on multiple telecom jobs. This a great opportunity for an EI or EIT Certified recent college grad to develop more industry skills and learn exciting technologies while multi tasking on several projects. Individual will document job information and assist in applying learned knowledge of analyzing, designing and modifying projects. Position is based out of our Rosewell, Georgia location with flexibility for remote work environment. Candiates located in the Southeast preferred.
This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects, and an eagerness to apply knowledge on critical projects. The Early Career Structural Engineer will have a proficiency in utilizing 3D Modeling and AutoCAD drafting/modeling software. Completion of steel and cocrete design courses as well as knowledge of bolted and welded connection design preferred.

Responsibilities:

- Accurately and timely document job information
- Must have excellent communication, electronically and in person
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions if needed
Qualifications:
What You Will Need
- Minimum Bachler’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
- Passed the engineer-in-training or fundamentals of engineering exam (EI or EIT), required
- Proficiency in utilizing 3D Modeling software for structural analysis, with a preference for familiarity with RISA 3D software.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD drafting/modeling software
- Ability to comprehend spatial relationships to troubleshoot potential interference issues.
- Understanding of structural load paths.
- Knowledgeable in bolted and welded connection design.
- Completion of courses in steel design and concrete design; experience in designing steel and concrete structures is beneficial.
- Familiarity or experience with steel shop fabrication processes and/or knowledge of fabrication shop tools and capabilities is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Suite products such as MS Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Must be willing to travel within local markets and no travel restrictions within the United States (15% travel, but usually less, usually 1-2 day trips)
