Position: Operations Manager

Salary Range: USD 2000- 2750/ month (based on experience)

Location: Fully remote, Only for LATAM

Working Hours: Full-time, 9AM - 5PM EST

Language: Professional proficiency in English level C1 is required.

Type of contract: Independent Contractor Agreement.

The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operations of warehouse and transportation functions within the company. This role entails communicating with customers, managing remote employees, coordinating daily with the warehouse manager to ensure smooth warehouse operations, and coordinating with transportation carriers. Experience in management systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is essential for success in this role, but not a must. You will be playing  a pivotal role in optimizing workflows, automating processes, and enhancing operational efficiency. While prior experience in logistics is beneficial, it is not a requirement. We value intelligence, excellent communication skills, and skills for making high-level decisions.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise remote employee(s) to ensure efficient operations.
  • Daily communication with customers to provide status updates and answer inventory questions.
  • Collaborate closely with the warehouse manager to oversee and streamline the warehouse operations.
  • Communicate effectively with transportation carriers to coordinate shipping and delivery schedules.
  • Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to track inventory, shipments, and deliveries.
  • Optimize workflows and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Daily communication with the CEO to provide updates and address any operational issues.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
  • Analyze data and generate reports to identify trends, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges to minimize disruptions and delays.

Requirements

  • Experience in Logistics is appreciated but not required
  • Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Data Entry
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced
  • environment
