Job description

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Fundraising Specialist to lead our fundraising efforts. This role involves researching potential funding opportunities, prior experience in CSR or HNI fundraising, writing compelling proposals, networking with stakeholders, and managing both internal and external communications. The ideal candidate will have excellent negotiation skills and professional fluency in English.

Location: India, remote

Remuneration: 11-15 LPA

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research: Identify and research potential donors, grant opportunities, and partnerships that align with our mission.
  • Proposal Writing: Develop and write persuasive funding proposals and grant applications tailored to the requirements of various funding bodies.
  • Networking: Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective donors, partners, and stakeholders to support fundraising goals.
  • Internal & External Communication: Manage communications with donors, partners, and internal teams to ensure alignment and clarity in fundraising initiatives.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate terms and agreements with donors and partners to secure funding and support for our projects.
  • Campaign Management: Plan and execute fundraising campaigns and events to engage donors and raise funds.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on fundraising progress, challenges, and opportunities to senior management and the board of directors.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field. (Ex. Sales, Marketing etc.)
  • Previous experience in a fundraising role within a non-profit organization.
  • Familiarity with fundraising software and CRM systems.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
