What You Will Do:
As a Senior Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and leading the implementation of complex IT solutions that meet the needs of various Department of Defense programs. You will work closely with stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and project managers, to ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding the technical direction of projects and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities:
● Solution Design: Lead the design and architecture of scalable, secure, and robust IT solutions that meet client requirements.
● Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
● Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
● System Integration: Design and oversee the integration of various systems and technologies to create cohesive solutions.
● Compliance: Ensure that solutions comply with government and industry standards, including security and regulatory requirements.
● Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation, including design specifications, diagrams, and implementation plans.
● Innovation: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
● Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with solution design and implementation.
● Performance Optimization: Ensure that solutions are optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability.
● Client Engagement: Engage with clients to present architectural solutions, gather feedback, and ensure satisfaction.
Requirements:
● US Citizenship Required: Only US Citizens are eligible for this position.
● Clearance: US Citizens, our client will sponsor security clearance.
● Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in solution architecture or a related role, with a strong background in designing and implementing complex IT solutions.
● Technical Expertise: Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), enterprise architecture, and system integration.
● Programming and Scripting: Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, or similar.
● Security Practices: Deep understanding of security best practices and regulatory compliance.
● Architecture Frameworks: Experience with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar.
● Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
● Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
● Detail-oriented: Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Nice to Have:
● Recent DoD or IC-related experience.
● Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF, or similar.
