What You Will Do:
As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be at the forefront of developing and implementing advanced analytical models and integrating large language models to solve complex problems for various Department of Defense programs. You will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure data-driven decision-making processes are optimized and impactful.
Responsibilities:
●Model Development: Develop, implement, and optimize advanced machine learning and statistical models to analyze complex datasets and extract actionable insights.
●LLM Integration: Lead the integration of large language models into government off-the-shelf (GOTS) and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) production environments, including TAK ecosystems such as Android Tactical Assault Kit (ATAK) and WebTAK.
●Data Analysis: Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic decision-making.
●Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver high-quality analytical solutions.
●Mission Planning: Develop mission planning capabilities for training and combat environments using advanced analytics and LLMs.
●Tactical Intelligence: Enhance tactical intelligence and targeting capabilities through the deployment of LLMs in training and combat environments.
●Data Visualization: Create and maintain visualizations and dashboards that communicate complex analytical results to technical and non-technical audiences.
●Security and Compliance: Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
●Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for analytical models, processes, and systems.
●Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve data and model-related issues and discrepancies.
Requirements:
●US Citizenship Required: Only US Citizens are eligible for this position.
●Clearance: US Citizens, Our client will sponsor security clearance.
●Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role, with a strong background in developing and implementing machine learning models.
●Machine Learning: Proficient in machine learning techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, computer vision, and natural language processing.
●LLM Proficiency: Experience with large language models, including their integration and deployment in production environments.
●Programming Languages: Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, R & H2O.
●Data Visualization: Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
●Cloud Services: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and their data services.
●Data Security: Knowledge of data security best practices and regulatory compliance.
●Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
●Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
●Detail-oriented: Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
