What is the Opportunity?

The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize assigned projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes orchestration with project team resources and coordinating the efforts of team members (Toll internal resources in System Engineering, Data Services, IT Services, Application Team, third party consultant support team, and Stakeholders) to deliver projects. The Project Manager will work with the project team to help define the project's objectives in partnership with stakeholders and sponsors, utilizing expertise and experience with both business and technical solutioning. Lead and support the existing project framework for implementing change by executing on project strategic objectives and deliverables while building and maintaining transparent communications, a healthy project culture and a continuous improvement mindset. This role is responsible for monitoring and controlling project scope, costs, and schedule; overseeing quality control throughout the project life cycle; the role includes the ability to manage several workstreams concurrently. The Project Manager also assists in determining the project delivery or "roll out” strategy and change management approach in partnership with implementation partner, communications leadership, business technical subject matter experts and others to ensure a seamless deliver and transition to steady state.

Do you have these qualifications?

  • Essential:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree or Arts Degree
  • 5+ years' experience in managing and leading IT projects
  • 5+ years, experience with an SDLC, PMLC and Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies
  • Strong experience as a Project Manager of medium to large complex projects. (New system implementation, upgrades or enhancements) applications (including cloud based, system and infrastructure type projects desired)
  • Proficient in working with MS Office Suite (Project, Excel, Word, Visio, Lucid) and collaboration tools such as Teams, SharePoint or Project Management systems.
  • Strong collaboration, influencing, and listening skills

Extensive experience with core software applications, including Oracle EnterpriseOne (JD Edwards), Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, Zendesk, SAP solutions or other enterprise level products.

  • Experience working both independently and, in a team within a program; ability to create a team oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
  • Can conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
  • Flexible during times of change and able to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating. Ability to defuse tension, should it arise. Customer focused and provide excellent customer service.
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.

  • Project Management Certification (PMP in good standing) or 10 years of project implementation, updates, enhancement and application support experience.
  • Preferred
  • ERP Application: JDEdwards E1 Accounting and/or HomeBuilding Application Experience
  • Project Management experience in leading application upgrades (application tools or infrastructure related projects)
  • Agile practice certification (CSM or comparable in good standing)
  • Experience using PPM solutions or Azure DevOps/Jira
  • System Implementation or Change Management experience
  • Building or Construction industry experience
