Role Overview: 

As a PowerShell Expert Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing PowerShell scripts to automate the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft-based components within the platform. You will collaborate closely with Product Owners and Architects, ensuring alignment with ongoing product changes and improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new functionalities and enhance existing PowerShell scripts to meet updated requirements.
• Write tests using Pester to ensure the reliability and functionality of scripts.
• Automate manual processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Integrate and automate technical dependencies to streamline operations.
• Work within Agile methodologies to deliver solutions in a timely manner.
• Document processes, outcomes, and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Propose enhancements and optimizations to existing scripts and processes.

Requirements:

• Advanced scripting knowledge in PowerShell with a focus on automation.
• Familiarity with modern programming standards and best practices.
• Proficiency in using GIT or Bitbucket for version control and collaboration.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in an international team environment.
• Excellent English language skills for clear communication.

Preferred Skills (Advantageous):

• Hands-on experience with installing and configuring Windows-based Operating Systems and services (e.g., Active Directory, DNS, NPS, Windows unattended installation).
