Position Summary

The Manager – Financial Planning & Analysis is responsible for managing highly complex and critical financial planning work-streams, processes and analyses to meet organizational goals and timelines in collaboration with top leadership across the system. The Manager coordinates and manages MultiCare’s long range planning, rolling forecasting and other related financial planning processes and deliverables; provides strategic guidance and project management; develops and/or improves processes, policies and procedures and assists in the development and preparation of presentations and reports. Hospital-based leaders may have a dual matrixed reporting structure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Healthcare Administration with a concentration in accounting and finance
  • Master’s degree Business or Healthcare Administration with a concentration in accounting and finance preferred
  • Minimum five (5) years experience in finance and/or financial analysis; strongly preferred in a healthcare setting
  • Three (3) years of experience in a supervisory or lead capacity
  • Consideration may be given to internal candidates not meeting the minimum qualifications

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $106,517.00 - $153,275.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
