Senior DevOps Engineer

Description

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure using Terraform and AWS.
• Configure and maintain Pritnul VPN to ensure secure remote access to our cloud environments.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Amazon ECS with Fargate.
• Optimize and manage databases on Amazon RDS.
• Implement and manage caching solutions using Redis.
• Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting systems using Grafana and Prometheus.
• Manage additional AWS services like EC2, S3, and VPC.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth CI/CD processes using GoCD, ArgoCD, Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, and GitHub Actions.
• Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Continuously improve infrastructure automation and deployment processes.

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role.
• Advanced proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Extensive experience with AWS services, including ECS, RDS, Redis, EC2, S3, and VPC.
• Basic knowledge of VPN setup and configuration.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools, particularly Grafana and Prometheus.
• Experience with Docker (Kubernetes not required).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GoCD, ArgoCD, Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, and GitHub Actions.
• Basic understanding of security principles and best practices.
• Proficient in version control using Git.
• Competence in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
