Production Development Analyst (Remote)

The Production Development Analyst’s position provides technical support to clients using products related to Revenue Cycle Management.  This position also requires a strong focus in SQL related skills in order to review database information to resolve customer support issues.  In order to provide timely resolutions to our clients, the successful candidate must have the ability to review stored procedures, triggers, and jobs within SQL  The Production Development Analyst will work collaboratively with members of the development, customer support, DevOps and implementation teams. 

Core Responsibilities: 

• Develops and maintains current case report working with key stakeholders to prioritize
• Ability to use creative thinking to provide immediate resolutions to customers.
• Continually improves product functionality and individual/team productivity by keeping up to date with industry standards
• Performs updates to the application, including routine code updates 
• Works in a remote but highly collaborative team environment 
• Some on-call as required

 Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years experience working with MS SQL Server
• Computer science or software engineering degree preferred but not required; or equivalent experience
• Coding experience is required to review potential bugs in the software and in some cases adding new features. 
• Proficiency with C++, C#, .net Core, JavaScript, HTML and SQL 
• Knowledge of SSRS is a plus
• Working knowledge of 835.837 files, and 270/271 messages is a plus
• Understanding of HL7 messaging
• Understanding of revenue cycle management process, including insurance claims processing
• Self-starter who is comfortable working on a team where your input matters 
• Experience in the health care services industry or other complex industries like finance is a plus 
• Proven track record of managing timely requests 
• Strong communication skills 
• Proven track record of working successfully with remote team members
