Job Description -
We’re looking for an engineer to help improve our enterprise Notification platform that interfaces with our Clients and Financial Representatives. In this role, you have the potential to bring immediate value by on-boarding new internal teams onto our Platform that want to communicate via mobile push messages, SMS, Email, Web, and Live Chat notifications. You will be immersed in the vast breadth of modern tools and technologies to get the job done, such as AWS Cloud infrastructure and platform services, NodeJS micro-services, Front-end web development using React/Next, and a robust CI/CD pipeline. As a Software Engineer I, you will work in an agile and innovative environment, solving complex problems and collaborating with architects and designers to improve the platform.
What You Will Do:
- Interface with internal teams to on-board onto the Notification’s Platform.
- Create dynamic notification templates for Email, Web, and mobile push notifications using a modern tech stack in a NodeJS micro-service architecture.
- Build day-to-day like a start-up—incrementally and iteratively—but with the security and resources of an enterprise budget.
- Release to production early and often—you will not be working on a product for a year before it sees the light of day; we believe in MVPs.
- Learn and work with a talented, mission-driven, fun-loving team who values your input and your individuality.
Qualifications:
- Classroom programming experience
- Demonstrate a continuous learning mindset
- Able to dissect problems and recommend solutions
- Basic technical skills
- Self-motivated and driven team player that effectively works well with other engineers, product owners, and non-technical roles.
Impress Us With:
- Experience with Git version control
- Familiarity with JavaScript
- High-level knowledge of AWS services
- Understanding of CICD processes
