About the Position
The Senior Data Scientist position, integral to our Digital Business Acceleration (DBA) division and embedded in the Consumer Insights and Analytics pod (CIA), offers a unique opportunity to drive strategic decision-making through advanced data analysis. The Consumer Insights and Analytics pod focuses on understanding consumer behavior, consumption trends, growth drivers, and the impact of marketing through projects like Marketing Mix Modeling, providing you the chance to make a significant impact on our company’s success. With at least 5 years of experience, you will leverage your proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools, alongside cloud technologies, to uncover insights, develop predictive models, and implement cutting-edge machine learning algorithms. This role invites you to work independently on impactful projects, collaborate with dynamic cross-functional teams, and effectively communicate your findings to key stakeholders. You will engage in all phases of the data science lifecycle, from data preparation to model deployment, delivering data-driven solutions that shape our business strategies. Responsibilities
- Works independently on assigned projects, delivering insights and solutions that meet internal customer needs.
- Participates in technical strategy and provides insights into problem-solving efforts using statistical analysis and machine learning models.
- Engages with stakeholders under guidance, helping to understand their key challenges, and collaboratively working towards data-driven solutions.
- Presents analytical and model results in a clear and effective manner, enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions, with the ability to tailor communications to varying levels of technical understanding.
- Takes ownership of technical tasks and projects with minimal oversight, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Conducts exploratory data analytics to understand new and existing datasets.
- Engages in feature engineering and applies multiple modeling techniques to address business problems, demonstrating an ability to choose the appropriate model based on the problem at hand.
- Seeks to understand internal customer needs and technical requirements.
- Collaborates effectively with team members and participates in cross-functional interactions.
- Provides mentorship to junior data scientists on technical aspects of their role.
- Shares knowledge and best practices with peers.
- Contributes positively to the team environment and engages in continuous learning.
Domain Expertise:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Science, Mathematics, or a related field with at least 5 years of relevant data science experience (or Master’s degree and at least 3 years of experience).
- Proficient with Python, R, SQL, and GitHub, with a track record of manipulating data for analytics.
- Demonstrated experience in statistical analysis, machine learning models, and data visualization using tools like Matplotlib, ggplot, Tableau, or PowerBI.
Agile/Digital Experience:
- Experience working in a product-centric development team preferred
- Experience working in agile processes and frameworks preferred
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
- Sitting, working at desk/personal computer for extended periods of time
- Must be at least 21 years of age

The salary range for this role is:
$128,700.00 - $201,300.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
