Position Summary

Cold Iron is seeking an Animation Rigger to join us. This position is fully remote and open to applicants across the US and Canada.

Requirements

Your Responsibilities :

An Animation Rigger works collaboratively with Animators and Modelers to rig/skin an asset in Autodesk Maya and implement into engine with minimal supervision. The expectation is to assume ownership of their content and resolve any issues proactively.

Your Qualifications :

• Expertise in rigging and skinning complex assets in Autodesk Maya
• Proficiency in testing and implementing assets into game engines
• Ability to troubleshoot assets in game engines
• Expertise in creating Autodesk Maya tools and scripts to support animation needs
• Communicate proactively with team members across different disciplines to achieve project goals
• Implement new technologies and methodologies to improve rigging workflows and final animation quality
• Minimum 2 game titles shipped
• Minimum 7 years of experience

Nice to Have :

• Familiarity with motion capture data
• Knowledge of animation systems in game engines
• Proficiency in Motion Builder

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or related degree or equivalent industry experience

Salary

• $100,000-$120,000
