Sales Product Manager Pathology
Mediq Denmark, Sweden and Norway


About the Job
As the sales Product Manager within Pathology, you will be responsible for planning your daily sales activities within the pathology lab field in Denmark, Sweden, and Norway. You will work closely with existing customers but also grow new customers.

With Direct report to the Sales Manager LAB and in close collaboration with the Sales Directors in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, you will drive sales activities and ensure high quality of work and contribution to the overall target of Mediq.


Areas of responsibility

  • Identify sales opportunities within your business area and work proactively to create maximum growth.
  • Organise, support, and carry out training within your product area and further develop the product portfolio based on market needs.
  • Work proactively in the pre-tender phase with tender shape and positioning activities.
  • Work independently as part of a team to achieve sales results and contribute to profitability for the entire value chain within the business area.
  • Analyse and work proactively with the market and strengthen the company's competitiveness within the business area.
  • Develop within the segment and constantly manage demand within the market.
  • Daily engagement with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.


About You
With direct report to the Sales Manager LAB, and in close collaboration with the Sales Directors in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, you will drive sales activities and ensure high quality of work and contribution to the overall target of Mediq.

To succeed in this role, you must have a strong commercial mindset, and thrive by developing and executing commercial strategies to drive sales growth and develop the business. You can navigate in a matrix organization.

You will have solid experience from similar sales roles including proven track record.


Your Background and Qualifications

  • LAB-technician, biomedical scientist/BMA, relevant BA/Master or other equivalent.
  • Experience from IVD/LAB sales, LAB environment in the field of pathology.
  • Knowledge of pathology products via sales or work experience in a pathology laboratory.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to drive and review business cases.
  • Solid stakeholder management skills.
  • Structured, collaborative, and communicative.
  • Native language of either Danish, Swedish, or Norwegian, and good understanding of Scandinavian languages. Fluent in English.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Driving license is a requirement.

You are based in either Denmark, Sweden, or Norway where we also have office locations. You will report to our Sales Manager Lab, located in Oslo, Norway. Field travel of 50% is to be expected.
