Your missions

Market Access and Reimbursement Contractor

Location: Remote
Duration: 2 months

This is a part-time role (10 hours/week).
Schedule Notes: fully remote candidates, part time role 10 hours / week

Key Qualifications
Proven experience (minimum 10 years) in reimbursement and market access roles
working with vision plans, eyewear medical device / manufacturers and/or retailers
Expert knowledge of vision insurance value propositions and assessments,
credentialing, regulatory requirements, and claims / billing
Strong knowledge with the eyewear ecosystem, reimbursement mechanisms, account management, provider network dynamics, and pricing models across
major payer segments e.g. Commercial, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid
Familiarity with FDA-regulated and OTC healthcare items / services
Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution, including guidance to internal team on resource allocation, pricing strategies, and market penetration
Excellent business acumen and analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
Experience in engaging with key stakeholders such as payers and eyecare professionals

Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree with industry experience required.
A master's degree or higher in science, business, or related discipline is preferred.

Operations Strategy and Implementation:
Develop a thoughtful strategy and roadmap to operationalize insurance billing across payer credentialing and contracting, billing for insurance claims, and processing insurance information

Coverage Strategy and Implementation:
Help inform strategies to secure coverage and payment of innovative prescription technologies in vision

Regulatory Compliance:
Stay up-to-date with relevant reimbursement regulations, policies, and guidelines, ensuring compliance in reimbursement
activities

Competitive Intelligence:
Monitor eyewear / vision reimbursement landscape, providing insights and recommendations to inform strategic decision making.
