Your missions

Role: Senior Java Developer
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)
Contract Duration: Long Term
Work Hours: US Time (EST)
Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
Location: 100% Remote (can work from anywhere in LATAM Countries)

Our client is looking for a Senior Java Developer with Leadership skills and SAFe experience.

Must Haves:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) scaled agile environment.
At least 2 years of experience as a senior member on a team within a SAFe environment.
Full Stack Java with Angular front end (can be heavier backend with some angular if necessary).
Proficient in backend development with some front-end experience, including necessary familiarity with front-end technologies like Angular.
Lead experience – has experience leading/mentoring more junior developers.
Gitlab experience required.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience working in a SaaS-based product development environment or FDA-regulated medical device environment.
Experience working with AWS a plus.
Experience with programming languages Java, JavaScript, and SQL.
Experience utilizing frameworks and tools such as Angular, Spring Boot, Postgres, Docker, Git, Kubernetes and Kafka [BH1].
Experience in Domain Driven Design, Event Driven Architecture, and Reactive Programming desirable [BH2].
Experience working on an agile team.
Experience using release management and ALM tools like Jira and Git/Gitlab.
Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
Must be comfortable with formal documentation development and working in a regulated environment.
Ability to work part of an agile team and comfortable working remotely as required.
Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) a plus [BH3].
Experience working in a Scaled Agile (SAFe) environment a plus.
Experience in a biomedical, healthcare, blood or regulated environment is a plus.
