As a Â DevSecOps Engineer at ITONICS

Your Day-to-Day Tasks

Deliver team goals on time with high-quality standards.
Design and implementation of multi-tenant cloud infrastructure and data services used by our consumer applications.
Creating Terraform scripts to automate the provisioning of AWS resources in a controlled manner.
Communicating responsibilities and completing tasks between developers and technical operations to ensure verifiability through automation.
Capture needs and advise developers on the best practices regarding automation, infrastructure provisioning, and security.
Maintain the CI/CD pipeline to ensure the highest quality and fastest delivery.
Deploy security defenses effectively as required.
Implement security measures for entire products or codebases.
Consistently identify and solve non-obvious issues in security processes and technologies.
Own the technical response and technical mitigation measures to complex security incidents.
Drive strategic remediation initiatives involving multiple teams, organizations, and systems.
Track incidents, vulnerabilities, and security trends over time.
Incorporate lessons learned from security trends into strategy and requirements.
Partner across the company to define and implement security requirements across different layers of the infrastructure stack.
Work with disparate teams across several departments on security initiatives.
Apply a comprehensive understanding of the companyâs technology stack and relevant external technologies.
Maintain awareness of technology changes and ensure the organization is aware of them.
Understand that technology, threats, and responses evolve, and use this evolution to identify opportunities to improve security controls.

Your Skills & Qualifications

Expert in three or more security domains (e.g., infrastructure security, application security, threat intelligence).
Specialize in areas like security operations, incident response, endpoint security, and identity management.
Implement the latest defensive capabilities provided by each layer of the stack.
Have extensive experience with multiple assessment methods and choosing the best approach for problems.
Knowledge of designing structural changes to enforce security requirements and defenses at the product/codebase level.
Experience working with Developers, DevOps, and Engineering teams in a dynamic environment to promote/implement the DevSecOps program throughout the organization.
Capability to prepare security vulnerability and risk management reports for management.
Containerization of application/application modernization using docker containers.
Proficiency in Bash, Python, or other scripting languages.
Familiarity with Information Security frameworks/standards (i.e. CIS, NIST, RFC2196, etc).
Comprehension in the security areas of Key Management Systems, Certificate Management, Encryption, Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Scanning, Security and Monitoring tools, etc.
Experience configuring, implementing, and leveraging computer security and networking diagnostic/monitoring tools.
Knowledge of Windows and Linux patch management and related information security functions (authentication, encryption, iptables, SSL, Ciphers, etc.).
Ability to work with APIs and Plugins to integrate security tools into established CI/CD pipelines.
Ability to train and collaborate with co-workers.
Experience in the use of first-party, open-source, and off-the-shelf technologies for security solutions.
Well-rounded knowledge of web-based technologies.
Comfortable working in a diverse, multi-region, collaborative environment.
