What will you be doing as a Senior Project Manager?

As a Senior Project Manager with Openmind Networks, you will ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards to keep our customers happy and increase revenue for the business. You will work globally with some of the leading telecom companies in the world, ensuring our products are integrated efficiently and successfully with them.


Key Responsibilities:

  • You will work cross-functionally with Account Managers and pre-sales consultants to ensure the projects are scoped correctly and manage all stages of the project lifecycle through a PMI/Prince 2 methodology. Your exceptional client-facing skills will be essential in engaging with customers, managing expectations, and securing project satisfaction.

  • Drive the entire project, ensuring all milestones are achieved, and maintain robust financial controls to ensure projects stay within budget. Your expertise in project financial management will be crucial for accurately planning, forecasting, and achieving project financial objectives.

  • Engage with customers continuously, survey their feedback on the project implementation, and ensure high customer satisfaction. Proactively align on project status, risks, and deliverables through effective customer engagement and governance.

  •  After project completion, reflect on the overall performance, implement required changes for future projects, and contribute to reducing Lead to Cash timelines by supporting pre-contract sales activities and identifying process improvement actions.

Requirements:

  • Strong track record of success in ICT project management or experience in telecommunications projects is a plus. Proven leadership in projects with excellent team working skills and accountability.

  • PMI or PRINCE 2 certified, with a background in building strong, long-lasting relationships with customers in the IT/DevOps or Telecommunications area.

  •  Experienced in resource planning and budget management. Proven ability to manage budgets, work to deadlines, and stay organised under pressure.

  • Passionate and positive person, who takes accountability and pride in their work. Strong customer focus and ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment. Continuously seeking self-development.

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to understand a broad range of business and technical challenges.
