About the client
The E-commerce & Development Manager serves as the primary contact for all aspects of the organizations website(s), handling a range of responsibilities that may include web design and development, routine site and content maintenance, and various updates to ensure sites align with the goals and objectives of the company.



Job Scope

  • Front-end web development and content production.

  • Responsible for creating, editing, posting, updating, and implementing new website templates, landing pages and product marketing content.

  • Handle all content authoring requests large or small from building new pages, hero elements and layouts to content, editorial, and text updates.

  • Maintain product pages and site standards and ensure the information is accurate.

  • Work with a cross-functional team (Marketing, Product, Development) to gather requirements, content, and designs.

  • Partner with key stakeholders to identify areas of opportunity in the CMS application implementation to deliver new components.

  • Upload and launch product imagery, specifications, and marketing copy for new products.

  • Manage user acceptance testing process for pages and templates produced, as well as analyze data to monitor site performance and uncover areas for improvement.

  • Keep abreast of the latest trends and changes in UI/UX and digital marketing as it pertains to eCommerce.

  • Experience with frontend implementation (i.e. HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

  • A portfolio that demonstrates strong skills in front end development

  • Implementations of 3rd party applications




Requirements

Job Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s Degree or advanced degree in Graphic Communications or other related areas, or equivalent experience.

  • 5 years of combined experience in digital design and/or eCommerce.

  • Experience with eCommerce CMS back-end platforms

  • Expert knowledge of Shopify and Liquid templating engine

  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop & Illustrator.

  • Strong understanding of the online web development process with working knowledge of HTML/CSS.

  • Front-end web development experience preferred.

  • Team player who can also work independently under guidance from the Creative Director & Marketing Team.

  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and hit quick-turn deadlines with little oversight.

  • Fluency with digital communication, project management tools, and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.

  • Strong understanding of social media channels.

  • Understanding of performance-based marketing strategies.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Working knowledge of Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, product feeds, and social integrations.
