WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Tealium is seeking a Staff Strategic Client Advisor. You will play a pivotal role in assisting the regional sales leader, their teams, and the Tealium Customer Success teams. Your primary focus is a set of customer-facing activities that help the customer understand the match between their vision for their desired outcomes and the Tealium solution, including architectural approaches and patterns, on which the Tealium solution is built. This role encompasses pre-sales and post-sales activities, requiring a deep understanding of the operating model and Tealium's unique capabilities, all while ensuring consistent engagement with the customer.

YOUR DAY TO DAY

  • Collaborate with the regional sales leader and the Tealium account teams to engage with net new prospects and existing customers.

  • Your role is non-billable, as you are focused on driving strategic value that will lead to revenue generation, as opposed to an emphasis on opportunity prosecution.

Pre-Sales Activities 

  • Conduct & Support with Discovery to understand customer needs and challenges, with a specific focus on Tealium's unique capabilities and value driven outcomes.

  • Lead executive briefings, engaging with C-level executives, and take ownership of presenting the Strategic Value Assessment, tailored to Tealium's value proposition.

  • Participate in architecture discussions and whiteboard sessions to articulate how Tealium can prominently address the customer's challenges.

  • Perform Value Benchmark Analysis, including KPIs and Maturity Assessments, aligning them with Tealium's unique benefits.

  • Facilitate value creation exercises and discussions on how Tealium can fit into the customer's architecture.

  • Provide thought leadership around Path2Value, execution strategy, and Tealium’s go to market strategy as a whole

  • Help the customer prioritize their use cases based on their potential value to the customer.

Post Sales Activities

  • Conduct Value GAP Analysis, considering Tealium's intricate nature.

  • Work with Customer Success on Client Whitespace Analysis in order to identify additional teams or Lines of Business at the client where Tealium solutions can provide business impact, improve stickiness, reduce potential churn, and expand the Tealium footprint.

  • Perform Value Assessment, including Pro Forma and Realized value calculations specific to Tealium's intricacies.

  • Engage with C-level executives to present the realized Strategic Value, collaborating with the Solution Consultant (SC) to include technical aspects, especially those related to Tealium

WHAT YOU BRING TO TEALIUM

  • Proven experience in business consulting or advisory roles, with an understanding of complex infrastructure software like Tealium.

  • Deep understanding of the industry and market trends, especially in Marketing, Advertising and Data Technology. Digital Marketing or Agency Experience (B2B or B2C) preferred

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with C-level executives while addressing the complexity of Tealium.

  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities to drive value creation while considering Tealium's intricacies.

  • Collaborative and able to work closely with sales teams and technical experts, recognizing the challenges of implementing Tealium.


 

WAGE TRANSPARENCY

In many U.S. states, employers are required to include a pay range for posted positions. Although this isn't a requirement in every state, communicating transparently is a cornerstone of our operations at Tealium, and we believe in making this information available to all applicants.

The U.S. pay range for this full-time position is listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is eligible for a robust benefits package that includes the following:

  • Employees are eligible to receive an annual bonus and stock options. 

  • Employees and their families are eligible for medical, dental, vision,  life, and disability insurance. 

  • Employees have the option to enroll in our 401k plan and are eligible to receive contributions for company matching.

  • Employees are eligible for flexible paid time-off and extended paid parental leave. 

  • We offer 11 paid holidays annually with an additional Healium Be-Well break for most employees.

  • We offer 15 hours of paid work time for volunteer activities and programs. 

  • Our sick leave accrual is the following for our employees:

    • Exempt CA employees (not including San Francisco) including NY : accrue 40 hours each year. Unused sick leave carries over into the next year. Employees cannot exceed 80 hours in a given year.

    • Exempt Non - CA employees (not including NY) including SF: Accrue 1 hour every 30 hours worked. Cannot exceed 180 hours in the calendar year.

    • Non-Exempt: accrue 1 hour every 30 hours worked. Unused carries over to the next year. Not to exceed 108 hours in a calendar year.

Compensation Range: $155,000 - $182,000 Base + Variable
