Accounting Lead

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Lead to join our finance team. The Accounting Lead will assist in managing the day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. What you'll do

General Ledger Management:

• Assist in maintaining accurate general ledger entries.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

• Process invoices and payments in a timely manner.
• Manage customer invoicing and collections.
• Reconcile bank statements and track expenses.

Financial Reporting:

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Compile data for audits and other financial reporting requirements.

Data Entry and Record Keeping:

• Enter financial data into accounting software with precision.
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records.

Compliance and Internal Controls:

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Support the implementation of internal controls and accounting best practices.

Support and Collaboration:

• Assist senior accountants and financial managers with various tasks and projects.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather and provide financial information as needed.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1-2 years of accounting experience is preferred, but recent graduates with relevant coursework will be considered.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., Oracle) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office Suite applications.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
